Spongebob Truth or Square Review

Swiffer-Pink

Product description: SpongeBob SquarePants has gotten himself into quite a predicament. After being entrusted by Mr. Krabs to keep the Krabby Patty formula safe, SpongeBob is overcome with grief for losing the recipe. He then relies on the help of the most unlikely companion, Plankton, who wants the secret Krabby Patty recipe for himself. With the help of his friends, SpongeBob must use Plankton’s memory machine to retrace the happiest moments of his life to find the Krabby Patty formula in time for the Krusty Krab’s Eleventy Seventh anniversary.

****This movie is hilarious. We loved the thought of Spongebob and Sandy getting married even though it would be really wierd.  This movie is a little different then the show, with Plankton and Spongebob coming together.  Spongebob finally gets his wish of knowing the secret ingredients to the Krabby Patty Formula.

****This book is  very bright and colorful. The book is a little different from most christmas books. No mention of elf, Rudolph, or any of the reindeer by name.   It was a fun and interesting book. My kids really enjoyed it.

Getting A Big Girl Bed

I wrote a post not that long ago about my daughter finally getting potty trained at age 3. Well I got some scrutiny for waiting so long, when most people potty train at age 2.

We wait until our children are ready, i’m not a pushy parent and will never push anything including potty training on my children.  Did i try introducing her to the potty earlier. Yes and she didn’t want anything to do with it.

I think that when you push potty training, they are more likely to have accidents.

ANYWAYS:

We promised her when she was fully potty trained we would buy her a Tinker Bell bed. so Wednesday we had a bed delivered just for her and bought Tinker Bell sheets and comforter.

She is super excited

Green living tips my family follows

My family has been trying to be better about going green. Some of the things we have been doing is…

We recycle now, you couldn’t imagine how many things you use on a daily basis that are recycleable.

We have started using shoppong bags instead of pastic bags from the store, You have no idea how mad some clerks get,

We use greener products which are great phosphate free, and better for lakes and streams.

We shop at thrift stores, saves on budget and helps enviroment.

We’ve planted our own garden, growing our own veggies.

We rely more on opening blinds then using lights during the day.

Now thats it’s col we have been using our fireplace, rather than cranking the heat.

when it’s warm we open windows, instead of AC.

We donate our old clothes and toys to goodwill, so they don’t end up polluting a landfill.

My husband is a college student , and has started printing on both sides of the paper.

We refill ink cartridges or recycle the rather than trashing them.

We have upgraded to a energy star front load washer and dryer to save water and energy.

We limit shower time to conserve water

Thanksgiving Tips I Would Like To Pass On To My Children

I’ve been talking about Thanksgiving so much, I thought I’d share some of my family’s traditions i’d like to pass on.

One thing that my Grandmother is famous for is her Thanksgiving Fudge Recipe. Which has been passed down through generations, and I would pass that on to my children. It is the most thickest creamest, delicious fudge you’ve ever tasted.

Another tradition is eating at the table, Thanksgiving brings family and friends together. Growing up we always ate in the living room or somewhere else. Thanksgiving was the one time we ate together as a family. I want to ensure that in my children.(i eat with my children at the table everyday now).

Giving thanks, My family was not very religious growing up. We Still are not a religious family, but growing up I started a tradition that instead of praying before our meal. We would just say what we are thankful for and share stories. I would love for my kids to carry that tradition.

Thanksgiving to me has always been about family. Thats whats important, I want my kids to know that no matter what happens in a family, there is always ways to bring them together and something to be thankful for.

Target has teamed up with TwitterMoms for thanksgiving contest where you can win a $50 target gift card.
