Julie Pruitt started Trendy Tadpole back in 2004 when she decided it was time she worked for herself.  She was inspired by her students and by the children that she babysat.  She brings pop culture, a little nostalgia and fun into each one of her designs.

 I recieved the Mr. Big shirt for my son. I chose it because my son is tall for his age and walks around like he’s the boss. This shirt fits his personality. The shirts run a little small so my son being 20 months, i got him a size 2T.

They have over 30 designs to choose from and come in onesies, long sleeve tees, reglan tees. They range in sizes from 3 months to 8 yrs.

This shirt is so adorable, and is a perfect fit for my son. All the designs are really cute. He has worn the shirt a couple times, and it still looks new, no fading.

This movie is kindof like Planet Earth.  provides a great deal of information about the planet and the creatures that live on it.  There are scenes of animals attacking their pray, which made me worry if it was appropriate for my kids. it wasn’t to gory though,but it was still hard to explain to a three yr old.   There were beautiful scenes of waterfalls and landscapes, like I’ve never seem before.   This is a really great movie.

My family and I got to experiance the fun and excitement of Build A Bear.   I have never been to Build A Bear before this  trip, and honestly i had it all wrong. My impression always was i’d spend at least $80 to $100 if i went in there.

Our experience overall was great we picked out our bears. We chose Hannah Montana Bear, Hello Kitty, and the new Autumn Fall Bear.

then you stuff and sew up your animal, well actually a store employee does it. They let you choose a heart for your animal and then you have the option to add a sound.

You can choose to dress your animal, and the variety of clothing  is endless. Plus don’t forget shoes and accessories.

We had so much fun and the staff was so wonderful, we even got to make birth certificates for our animals. 

I got to meet and chat with the assistant manager here at our Greensboro NC store Sarah

she was very helpful and explained the whole process to me.  She helped My children with dressing and naming their bears.

she said that a average person would spend about $30-$40 per visit. which is way off what i thought. That really surprised me.
